About Project

FORES SAFETY is a leader in work-at-height safety and fall protection in Tunisia, offering advanced personal and collective protective equipment. I was hired to design and develop their custom e-commerce platform, transforming a highly technical, service-heavy business into a streamlined, accessible online shopping experience. The platform needed to handle technical product specs, customer education, and flexible purchasing — all in one responsive, high-performance system.

SKUs with Complex Technical Filtering

I built a robust catalog system for FORES SAFETY's wide range of products — from harnesses and lanyards to lifelines and anchor systems. Filters and product views were structured around real safety use-cases (e.g. height, risk level, installation method), allowing B2B customers to navigate a technical catalog with ease.

When lives depend on the gear you sell, the website can’t just look good — it must inform, guide, and build trust at every click.

The e-commerce experience was built around clarity and compliance.
Using React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS, I engineered a storefront optimized for speed and usability. I implemented custom category pages, spec sheets, multilingual support, and technical product filtering based on use-cases and standards — all with a modular component structure.

Back-office functionality and performance were key.
I integrated an admin panel that allowed FORES to manage product inventory, pricing, and multilingual descriptions without developer input. I also implemented performance optimization techniques like lazy loading, route prefetching, and next/image optimization — delivering a fast experience even for heavy product detail pages with diagrams, manuals, and safety specs.

The FORES SAFETY platform was a balance between e-commerce functionality and safety education. My work enabled their team to deliver reliable information, capture leads, and process orders securely — while giving users an intuitive way to find exactly the right safety solution. The result is a site built for performance, trust, and growth — aligned with FORES' 14+ years of leadership in fall prevention.
